What kind of a job would one look for if VERY interested and enjoys trading stocks/options?

trading options
reymondhak asked:

Hi,
My interest in stock and options trading has grown in the last year or so, my question is what kind of a job or career can I look in to if I enjoy following the stock market and trading stock/options? I do not have much experience in this field other than reading books and trading here and there…
I truly enjoy technical analysis and trading, where do I start if I want this to be my career?
—What companies can I work for to learn and earn an income? Most importantly learn!!!
—What position can I get being inexperienced?
basically where do I start?
Thank You

When I lived in New York City, I had a neighbor who did nothing but day trade. That was her “job” and she lived modestly, but always had the time and money to do or buy anything she wanted to do on a whim.

Her secret: SHe followed about 15 major companies (primarily fiber optics related) and she was very familiar whom those companies did business with. All day she would watch the charts, study on the internet, had the financial chanels on the TV. She simply kept her mind very sharp on every detail that was happening with those companies. By doing this she reduced a great deal of “Risk” caused by speculation and opinions…she simply knew what was happening and understood the logical consequences of events, and she was able to make great decisions because of it studious persistence.

She also never got greedy, and she worked within a certain safe margin. She would often decide what she would sell at as she purchased the shares. She was very steady and consistent….kind of like the turtle and the hair story.

She very rarely lost money.

The key is to reduce risk by placing yourslef in a position of knowledge.

Whatever job you take….challenge yourself to one day be your own boss in the stock market.
